Two New Members For Team Sash UK Ltd

The mighty salesforce at Sash UK marches on apace, with two new faces joining the team of the UK's leading PVCu profile manufacturer. Gilmour Allan has just been appointed Business Development Advisor for Scotland, and after having run his own business for a number of years, Gilmour is an ideal appointment. "I am used to sourcing new business and building up long standing relationships with customers," he says. "This ability will stand me in good stead as a Business Development Advisor with Sash and I am delighted to be working with a company that recognizes the value of my experience." The Scottish market is one that Gilmour feels offers a massive amount of potential, particularly within the commercial and housebuilding sectors. Angus Joins Sash UK Ltd

Travelling the length and breadth of the country may be daunting for some, but for Angus Cowie, it is a challenge he relishes. In his new role as New Build Sales Manager for Sash UK, Angus will be responsible for the securing of new build contracts throughout the whole of England and according to Angus, he is more than equal to the task. "My role is to build up trust and relationships over the long term," he explains. "I see my customers as partners and my aim is to cultivate these partnerships to everyone’s mutual benefit. Sash UK Enjoys Night of Glory at Prestigious Award Ceremony

Friday the 13th proved not to be unlucky for everyone when Sash UK scored a hat trick at the Rotherham Business Awards 2006, including the prestigious Overall Winner Award.

The Yorkshire based PVCu manufacturer was presented with trophies for both the 'Excellence in Business' and 'Innovation in Business' categories as well as being crowned the ‘Overall Winner' at the ceremony organised by the Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, held at Magna this October.

After visiting the company's headquarters in Barnsley the Judges said, "In a competitive and saturated market, Sash show real growth, profitability, efficient production, good customer and supplier relationships, innovative product design and top-class man management. They are now exporting to the USA which shows that this company can develop new products and develop into new markets with an offering that customers really want."

"It's wonderful to be acknowledged by the local business community in this way", said Joint Managing Directors, David Ruzicka and Stephen Morrell. "It shows true recognition of all the hard work that all our employees at Sash have put in over the years. And it is an even bigger compliment given the standard of the other businesses up for nomination," they added.
