Sash and Paddy, Paddy and Sash!
He might spend a lot of time on the road, and there’s not much call for new doors and windows in a battered old motorhome, but actor and comedian Patrick McGuinness has taken a break from his alter ego, Paddy (from Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere), to renovate a house in Bolton. And he is relying upon Sash UK to help him!
The detached property is in dire need of repair and restoration and part of the project included installing new windows and doors. Sash was recommended by Paddy's interior designer and he decided to see for himself just what the company had to offer. Two visits to Sash's factory later, and he made his decision, choosing Sash's Vertical sliders and patio doors. In addition, Sash provided a bespoke solution in the form of a large arched window to fit into one side of the house to bring in more light and provide a visually appealing feature.
But it didn't end with fenestration. The company's Fitrite range of fencing also caught his eye and as he was looking for something strong and maintenance free to protect his dog from falling over the ravine at the end of the garden, the Fitrite fencing proved ideal!
Quality and aesthetic appeal were at the forefront of the specification of the Sash products and Patrick is delighted with the results. "Although the house won't be complete until later this year, the installation of the Sash doors and windows have already made a massive impact on the visual appearance of the house," comments Dave Ruzicka, Managing Director at Sash. "We are delighted that Patrick recognised the value of our doors, windows and fencing product ranges as well as our ability to create tailor made solutions. As his character in Road to Nowhere would say, 'dink dank do, job well done!'"
